Renting out a bedroom & private bathroom, 2 mins bike from Stanford

It is a beautiful 3 bed, 3 bath house and we are renting out two rooms – one master bedroom, and another private entrance bedroom on the first floor.

Location- The house is one block behind Rains apartments (2 min walking from Stanford campus), and 5 mins bike ride to the Caltrain Station on California Avenue. Easily accessible to public transport and restaurants.

The house location, backyard, amenities, and people will make you fall in love with it. The room will be available starting January 2023. You will have your own private bathroom (not attached but right next to it) and a private second entrance from the backyard. The room has its own closet, is sufficiently large for a queen bed + desk and chair. It's right next to the kitchen as well, so midnight snacks becomes easy.

About the House - The house comes with a large backyard. The housemates hosted dinners for 40+ Stanford grads. The backyard comes with a fireplace, small fountain, and shed – perfect for a smores night and a semi-equipped outdoor gym (along with an optional virtual one-on-one gym trainer discounted at $20/hr).

The living room has a lush sofa from restoration hardware (most of the furniture at home is from RH). The 80” 4k TV comes with a home theatre system ideal for movie nights. The separate dining room seats 6 comfortably and can be expanded for up to 8. The fully stocked kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, blender, toaster, and many other appliances. There is a separate washing and drying machine room as well. The house comes with central AC and heating.

The storage options of the house are more than plenty as well – with a large walk-in closet under the staircase, cabinets across the house, and most of all a large garage. Ample street parking is available in front of the house.
About me - The housemate you will live with is a Stanford Ph.D. graduate (class of 2022) who is currently teaching on campus and finishing up his thesis along with a Stanford professor of anthropology from Austria - she's great! Both are quiet, clean, work primarily on campus, and love all animals. Sadly our landlords do not allow pets (except service animals). The house loves to host people for dinners, movie nights, smore nights, and board games!
