Price: $1,390
We have two rooms available in our house!
About the first room: it has a large built in closet, and a big window opening on to an apple tree. There is a shared restroom with one other roommate. Rent is $1390/month, not including utilities and internet which run about $60 per person depending on the season/heater use. We also have a cleaner come monthly, which is $30/person. Available for move in March 1.
About the second room: Similar to the first room, except there is an ensuite bathroom with a shower and jacuzzi. Rent is $1660/month, available for move in March 1.
Rent is paid month-to-month with the caveat that if one of us should decide to move on, we help find a replacement with at least 30 days' notice. We're most interested in someone who can commit for 6 months to a year.
About the house: We are walking distance to the California Ave Caltrain (about 20 min), and Midtown Shopping Center. There is a washer and dryer in our spacious garage. The house is beautiful, complete with fruit-trees and a fire pit in our backyard, a big open cooking space, and a large living room/dining room. The landlord is responsive and reasonable. Sadly, we cannot have pets. We are a COVID conscious household and we ask that all roommates be fully vaccinated.
About the roommates: you'll be sharing the house with two 20-something guys and three 20-something women, all working in a range of industries from tech to tech (okay-- one of us works as an aerospace engineer, and one of us is a product designer!). The house has been a fairly communal/social space, but of the dinner party and game night kind, not the rager kind. We are often up until 10/11 on a weekday, 10/12 on a weekend hanging out after work, playing a game together or watching some Game of Thrones, but we also have our separate social circles. We're considerate of each other's needs and feelings, and our communication style is direct.
About you: tell us :) If you think you'd be a good fit, please fill out this Google form (apologies for the formality, it's just hard to keep track of everyone):
Looking forward to hearing from you! If it sounds like we could be happy living together, we'll reach out ASAP.
