February 11th - March 9th, Short Term Stay, Discounted Rate ($1200)

Furnished room a few blocks from downtown Palo Alto. 5 minute walk to Palo Alto Caltrain Station. 30 minute walk to Stanford campus. The room is furnished with a bed and a desk. Some closet space. The apartment as a whole has a full kitchen with a dishwasher, a common area, a dining room, and a bathroom. Washer and dryer just down the back steps (requires quarters). Street parking. Super close to downtown Palo Alto (bars, restaurants, movie theatres, pharmacies etc.) 15-20 minutes walking distance to Safeway, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods. Price includes utilities and internet. I'm looking for someone to occupy the room just for a month when I'm away. Move-in date is flexible, but no earlier than February 11th and move out at the latest March 9th. Good spot for a short stay in the area or for setting up something more permanent elsewhere. The other room in the apartment is occupied by a Stanford English PhD student, quiet but sociable.
