About the room:

The room is large - plenty of room to put in your desk, sofa, etc. It comes unfurnished.
The room is on the second floor and has a tranquil garden view with lots of trees.
It has high ceilings, a large window and lots of natural light.
The private bathroom has a window as well.

About the house:

Recently remodeled. Four bedrooms, three baths.
Spacious living room with three couches, a electric fireplace (real fire with a remote control), piano, and TV (comes with Apple TV).
Dining room seats 10-plus people (we’ve made 16-person dinner parties work!).
Large kitchen with lots of counter space and kitchenware.
Brand new in-unit Samsung washer and dryer.
House fits four cars total (two-car garage plus two-car driveway), with plenty of additional street parking.
We have a small backyard and a large shared outdoor space with four other houses in our HOA, which comes with a swimming pool.

Extremely convenient location— walking distance from downtown Redwood City, Caltrain, Safeway, Whole Foods, Costco, and Target. 10 minutes away from Stanford by bike. 25 minutes away from SFO by car.

About us:

3 Females, all with Stanford affiliation. We are in our late 20s and 30s, and word in tech, investing and research.
It’s a pretty calm house—we’re friends and hang out regularly, but are generally respectful of each other’s space and there aren’t usually a ton of guests filtering in and out.

Utilities not included in rent. Typically ~$100/month.
Preferred move-in date would be as soon as possible (negotiable).
