I'm helping my friend, adjunct stanford professor, 85, find someone to live with her in her lovely house a few minutes walk from downtown Los Altos, 4.8 miles from Stanford campus.

She doesn't want to charge rent, she just wants someone else living in the house with her.

You would have to sometimes do things like put out garbage and maybe help with a few things around the house, but she will have daily carers to do most things, she just wants someone to be around mostly, chats now and then and an occasional movie.

She's a lovely lady, has had a very interesting career too in psychology and music. She would be happy to have a single girl or a couple apply to live with her. You would have your own room and bathroom, there is plenty of space for private working and hanging out around the pretty spacious house. There's also a really nice garden, She wouldn't like to have too many visitors coming around, although garden hangouts would be fine.
