I have an unfurnished room available in a 3br/2ba house in Palo Alto (Midtown) that is currently available for $1350 (plus internet/utilities). The room will be available May 1st with a potential option to move in a couple days early. You would be taking over my lease till August and then you could sign a new lease here. The house is in a cute/calm neighborhood within biking distance of Stanford and with easy access to 101. The house has a 2-car driveway, a garage (with a washer/dryer!), and plenty of street parking. Shared spaces include bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, side patios, and a spacious backyard. No pets (we love them, but not allowed per the lease).

Both roommates are female working professionals in their 20s to early 30s, see below for additional bios:

Roomie #1: I graduated from Stanford two years ago with a master’s of engineering and now work for a medical device company in San Jose. I enjoy watching tv, reading, hiking, and camping.

Roomie #2: I moved from the DC area a year ago to work as a research coordinator at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. I also enjoy reading, watching tv, hiking, and generally exploring the bay area!

The room available is 10x12’. The shared spaces are furnished and we have a fully stocked kitchen. However, there is plenty of space for you to add a few of your own furniture pieces and kitchenwares. There is also a bit of space in the garage for storage.
