Rent: $850 + ~$100 utilities (varies by season) + $20 cleaning fee per month

Deposit: $1,212.50 (refunded upon move-out and walkthrough with the landlord)

One-time move-in furniture fee: The current roommate that is leaving has furniture in the room to sell which adds up to $350 total. This will be a one-time fee upon the move-in. They include: bed and mattress, desk, dressers, clothes rack, bookshelf, and mirror. You can sell them upon move-out.

House: 4Br/2B house with 4 parking spots, large living room and kitchen, and patio area. Washer and dryer in the outdoor laundry room in the backyard. Quiet neighborhood. We also have a monthly cleaning service and yard maintenance already included in the rent and an additional cleaning paid by the roommates.

Looking for: We have an awesome relationship with everyone here at the house and want to have a great addition to our group. We like doing the occasional roomie movie watching, dinner night, bar night, and now that we have good weather, hiking day! Also equally important is someone responsible, considerate, clean & tidy, quiet, no smoking, and easygoing. Overnight guests ok, just keep bf/gf visits to a minimum and let your roommates know. :)

Note: everyone is expected to help with the cleaning and maintenance of the house. This is very important for us and there will be NO exceptions so please make sure you’re ok with this. Weekly tasks are divided among roommates for the bathroom, kitchen, dishwasher, and trash. (You would take over the task of the roommate that is leaving).

Amenities: Access to kitchen (light cooking), living room, washer and dryer, 1 parking spot, bathroom shared with 3 roommates. So far this hasn’t been an issue, but there is a second bathroom outside that can be used.

Location: Near Stanford! 20min bike ride to campus. Located in East Palo Alto, blocks from IKEA, Target, Mi Pueblo shopping center; a 10min drive from Palo Alto Cal train station, there is also a bus stop down the street. Blocks from HWY 101 and HWY 84. 10 mins from downtown Palo Alto.
