Hello Stanford and Palo Alto people,

I am a researcher at SLAC and Stanford, and am also taking classes at Stanford. I am new(ish) to the area and am looking for someone (or more) to be my roommate in Palo Alto so that we can both save on rent.

Timeline: Start a lease in July, August, or September (I am very flexible)

House criteria: I am looking to live as close to downtown Palo Alto and Stanford/Caltrain as physically and economically possible. I want to be able to bike to campus and downtown. I also would like my own bathroom if possible. But rents for studios and 1b1ba are insane in this area! 2 bedroom apartments are far more reasonable and thus I am trying to see if anyone out there is in a similar situation to me.

About me: I am a mid-twenties male born and raised in Hawaii, who works on quantum physics and machine learning research. I am very social, easy to get along with, neat, clean, and very hard working (usually not home). On the weekends I like to go into the city and hang out at cafes and parks, go to social events, hike, and generally relax. I have good social skills, have great respect for others' privacy and belongings, and am very responsible. I play Piano, guitar, saxophone, and make my own music as well (with my headphones in and at reasonable hours).

About you: I am extremely flexible, I am looking for a roommate falling literally anywhere on the gender spectrum. I am not a big partier but am totally ok if you are. Hopefully you are affiliated with Stanford or want to live next to campus/downtown. Hopefully you are reasonably clean and respectful. I am very laid back so I anticipate it will be very easy to get along with me.
