We have a room for rent in a 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath house for $900/month in Sunnyvale. The upstairs bedroom is available with a preferred move-in date around March 1st, 2024. Long-term renters (1+ years) are preferred. Utilities are not included in the rental price, so add ~$100 a month.

It has a grand backyard, a HUGE kitchen, a beautiful entrance, a garage, a two car driveway, plenty of street parking, washer/dryer/dishwasher, and all in a very safe residential neighborhood.

• Sorry, no pets are allowed per the lease agreement (fish ok)
• Caltrain and downtown Sunnyvale ~5-10 minutes away
• 280 and 101 each ~8 minutes away

THE ROOM:

• Unfurnished
• Rent is $900/mo + utilities (utilities ~$100 / month)
• Shares 1.5 bathrooms (one with shower/bathtub, one without) with a couple other housemates. We all have pretty different schedules so we don't really have bathroom conflicts.

THE HOUSEMATES:
Pedrom - I like to spend most of my time outdoors, whether that’s skiing, hiking, traveling, or going out with friends. I love sharing Persian food, wine, TV show/movie rec’s (Star Wars is the best) and my love for cars.
Alex - I'm gone most of the time from the house. On the occasion that you do catch me around, I enjoy talking about food, drinks, and film! Always down to share a bowl of whatever I'm making and chat.
Kevin - I’m usually gone most of the time. Pretty down to earth. Always down to have coffee or breakfast in the morning together!
Brian - Busy bee, often not home but when I am you can find me relaxing, working out, cooking, socializing, or watching a movie. Food is my love language

All mid 20s to early 30s (4 male) working in tech/medicine. As a house, we all have our own lives but we hang out after work or on the weekends sometimes, + the occasional dinner party. The common spaces are clean and tidy. While we don't mind the occasional dish in the sink, in general we follow a leave no trace policy. (Slobs are unwelcome, sorry.) It's a really low drama and easy place to live, and everyone is fairly flexible and communicative. Our place has a respectful, enriching, and comfortable atmosphere and we are looking for a roommate with a similar outlook. We typically use Splitwise to do all house finances, so everything is transparent. We also are general fans of Venmo and paypal for monthly payments.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for 1 person (male or female). We prefer someone looking for longer-term housing (1yr+)! To move in you would need to pay a security deposit ($840) plus first month's rent (pro-rated according to move in date).
