Price: $1,400
Sadly for us, our roommate is moving in with her SO in Oakland. We are looking for someone to take her place in our home on a quiet street in the Mission.
We are a 5-minute walk from the 24th/Mission BART stop, making it a breeze to get across the bay without a car. There are an abundance of restaurants, bars, local markets, bookstores, and theaters nearby.
We have in-unit washer/dryer, Sonic fiber optic internet, and excellent water pressure. Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, gas range, plenty of counter/cabinet space, and lots of natural light. Small outdoor area in back, and a rare (unfinished) cellar for storage. There is a single shared bathroom.
Your room is spacious (~9’ x 17’) with hardwood floors and east-facing window that lets in glorious morning sunlight. Comes unfurnished, with the option of buying our departing roommate's large dresser and wardrobe.
We’re looking for a roommate that is friendly, communicative, considerate, and relatively focused on work/study. We clean up after ourselves in the common areas and are mindful of one another when having people over.
We are:
Nathan, 30y/o physiology PhD student at UCSF. When not staring through a microscope, I like to cook, volunteer at the SF Bike Kitchen, and watch movies at independent theaters. I generally don’t WFH.
Pietro, 30y/o researcher at SLAC, originally from Italy. I like to explore new bars in SF and my latest hobby is pottery. I WFH one day a week.
Details:
Official move in date is April 1st (possibility of subletting starting March 15th)
Rent is $1400 (+utilities ≈$100/month), security deposit is $2100.
If interested, please tell us a little about yourself in an email and we’ll find a time for you to come by!
