Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
CPA license required. MBA looked upon favorably
Minimum of 5-7 years of public accounting or consulting experience preferably with Big Four. The ideal candidate is prepared for Director promotion
Deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycle accounting including experience creating quality of earnings analysis
In-depth knowledge of healthcare accounting principles, regulations, and reimbursement methodologies (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex financial data and identify deficiencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Position Responsibilities
Utilize healthcare accounting knowledge to review and analyze healthcare client revenue cycle including:
Review receivables, contractual deductions, denials, and net collections
Analyze and make recommendations as to allowances and reserves
Audit internal findings in areas such as reimbursement, coding, and tax
Internal controls and risk assessments
Impairment testing of intangible assets
Procedure reports and special reporting
Transaction accounting assistance including allocation of purchase price
Forensic accounting and dispute resolution
Due diligence in connection with affiliations
Accounting policy and procedure audit and recommendations
Insure client compliance with audit standards and Uniform Guidance Audits
Perform in-depth client quality of earnings analysis, including the identification, assessment, and remediation of potential reporting risks and verifying GAAP compliance.
Provide transaction advisory support, including financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation analyses, to support client engagements and strategic initiatives.

Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, providing clear and concise financial analysis.
Provide subject matter expertise
Maintain and manage client relationships as a director-level member of the SOLIC team.
Provide leadership, professional development, and mentoring for junior staff.
Guide and manage day-to-day execution of engagements:
Develop execution strategy and tactics
Ensure the quality of client deliverables
Actively participate in client meetings
Coordinate MD participation in engagements
