BE CAREFUL OF SCAMS!

Was recently involved in a scam on SuPost where some external non-Stanford email told me that their father wanted to buy an item, and then later the ‘father’ claimed that he would send me a cheque to pay the movers who were going to pick up an item. He was super pushy. I thought it would be another 30 bucks but the cheque was for a $1500. I realized he probably was going to ask us to transfer him back some of the cash through Venmo or Zelle.
