Project Overview:

The primary goal of this project is to integrate Machine Learning (ML) features into our structural engineering web application, with a focus on the development and fine-tuning of StructGPT. Your work will involve collaboration on existing structural design tools, optimizing features with large language models (LLMs), and ensuring seamless backend integration and testing.

Project Goals:

Objective: Train and integrate StructGPT, a specialized LLM for structural engineering tasks.

Tasks:

Familiarize yourself with the current structural design tools used in our application.
Review and understand the current implementation of LLMs.
Identify, collect and preprocess data relevant to structural engineering.
Fine-tune LLMs, StructGPT, on downstream tasks specific to structural engineering.
Collaborate with the team to design features that can be optimized using StructGPT.
Integrate StructGPT with the existing structural design tools into the backend of our web application.
Develop and implement unit tests to ensure functionality and reliability.
