My team and I are a group of Postdocs at Stanford, dedicated to developing an innovative treatment to prevent chemotherapy-induced alopecia (hair loss from chemotherapy). This summer, we are initiating a series of animal studies involving rats to test potential drugs that could significantly improve the quality of life for cancer patients.

To advance this important work, we are seeking a committed student to help with the research and join our team. Your role would involve:

Assisting in preparing drug formulations for administration. While prior experience with pipetting is an asset, it is not a requirement.
Managing the care of the rats, which includes feeding, drug administration, and systematic documentation of hair loss through photography. This will occasionally require availability over weekends.
Engaging in the analysis of study results, which is crucial for our research outcomes.
