Join the credit union at www.sfcu.org (it’s free – just click on "Open Account").

In order to receive the $500 you will need to open a checking (spending) account with the promo code and a minimum monthly payroll direct deposit of $2,500 for the first three consecutive months from account opening. Payroll direct deposit is defined as recurring ACH payments from your employer or the Social Security Administration. Other deposits such as checks, transfers, Venmo, Zelle® and PayPal do not qualify.
