Hi everyone,

I will be away for an internship over the summer. I am looking for someone to sublet my studio to for that time. It is in studio 5 (44 Olmsted Road), quiet and has a nice view onto some trees. I want to rent it out for the full allowed term (06/19-08/31) in the best case. I am searching for a sub licensee who is happy with the following:

Please double check if you fulfill the requirements the be a subletter in Stanford Housing! Last time I sublet this was a huge problem. I am not going to circumvent any university policy for you (including giving you my id, letting you stay longer than allowed ...). Even if you are an undergrad (Bachelor's student) from a foreign country, you are not allowed to rent this apartment. I sympathize that it is hard to get housing in the bay and hope you find something else quickly.
Because I have some back pain, I got an accommodation to use my own queen mattress and bed frame. It is larger than the dorm provided one, so it takes up more space, and in my opinion far better :) You can use my sheets if you want to.
The room tends to get hot in the afternoon in the summer. Please be aware of this. I have a tower fan you can use if you want to as well as an air purifier in case there is smoke from wildfires.

I have some extra furniture besides my bed (shelves, lamp, clothes and shoe rack etc.) and the dorm provided one. I'd strongly prefer if they stay in the apartment and if you want to remove any, you'd have to let me know. I will do my best to pack up my other stuff and store it where it is not in the way but plan to leave it in the apartment.

I have a countertop dishwasher, rice cooker, microwave and a bunch of the usual kitchen appliances you are welcome to use.

I don't assume this will happen, but just in case, for all my belongings, if you leave them broken or dirty I will take money from the deposit to replace or clean them.

If you want to rent my bike during this time please let me know and we can agree on a price.
