About the room:
The room is 9.6' x 12' and has great natural light (no overhead lighting; you'll need to provide your own but we have some to lend), view of trees and a usually quiet parking lot. The room comes optionally furnished with an optional twin-XL-sized bed, simple desk table/hutch w/ drawers, and office chair. Quote from a previous roomie: "The room is bright and feels connected to the outdoor space at Avalon."

You'll be sharing the full bathroom with a female Stanford recent grad working remotely who enjoys singing and watching shows and movies. She would strongly prefer a female apartment mate and asks that you keep shared spaces relatively clean.
The other roommate is a male Stanford alum, who is kind, friendly, curious, thoughtful, helpful, enjoys skating, exploring, photography, vidja games, teaching, and learning about basically everything.
They're both equally happy chatting and hanging out and doing things together or being quiet in their rooms (I (the guy) would love to be more social!). Both of them have been very communicative and caring and you will likely have a good time sharing the living space with them.

About YOU:
Nice, friendly, respectful, communicative, non-smoking/drugs, clean in shared spaces, and reasonably volume-d (complex's quiet hours are from 10pm-8am, but we try not to disturb neighbors, etc.), NOT allergic to cats, not a big party host (occasional small tasteful evening affairs are fine). (I promise we're less of a bore than this is making us sound!)
And for everyone's health and safety, if you get sick, we would like you to be okay with spending your time at home in your room with the door closed when not cooking (masked) or using the bathroom.

* Close proximity to: downtown Mountain View (food, events, an absurd amount of boba, & Caltrain), Google campus, San Antonio shopping center (groceries [Safeway/Trader Joes/Walmart/Target], theater), several parks (and a skate park)

* Free Mountain View shuttle
* Nice pool & fountain
* Patio & barbecue area
* Community events and contests
* Dog park + lots of dog friends in the complex (and 2 neighborhood cats that are pretty dope)
* Community pool/bbq parties + pet days
* About a 15 minute drive to Stanford
