I'm renting a 2B2B in downtown Menlo Park at Stanford-owned Middle Plaza Apartments and looking for a roommate to take over Bedroom 2. I've lived here a year and it's the best apartment I've had in the Bay Area. Stanford offsets the rent, so it's actually 80% of the market rate for an equivalent apartment in the same area. The apartment complex is only four years old, beautifully built with high-quality construction, and has tons of amenities — a courtyard with a pool and hot tub, free trash valet service, AC, and more. Management is helpful and reliable. It's an 8–10 min bike ride to Stanford Medical School, so great for people working in or near the medical campus.
