Hi! I’m in the process of signing a year-long lease for a 2BR/2BA after graduation, but we’re traveling over the summer and don’t want to pay rent for an empty apartment. We're looking to line up responsible, communicative subtenant(s) for May or June through August or September (with our move-in around early September).
It’s a relatively safe area downtown, the landlord is super sweet, and the rent is a great price given the huge space, which is why this unit is such an amazing find!! I interned in SF while living in Oakland last summer, and the commute is super convenient.
Location: Downtown Oakland, 2 blocks from 12th St Bart Station
Space: 980 sq ft (2 large bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms), hardwood, outdoor garden
Amenities: laundry machines on each floor, 1 garage parking spot
Rent: $1100-1400/month per person (depending on whether you need 1 or 2 bedrooms, furnished or not, and parking)
Tenant: non-smoking, credit score 700+
