Hey!

I’m a 24 y/o student from Europe, and soon I will be starting as a visiting student researcher at Stanford. I am looking for a room close to the university to rent for 5-6 months.

A bit about me:
I’m an easy going and social guy, in the past year I lived in 3 different countries, and I love meeting new people. I’m very tidy person, with experience living in multiple different shared student/young worker houses. In my free time I like to stay active, recently I’ve been doing some climbing, running and going to the gym. In the past I played volleyball and trained some jiu-jitsu which I might want to pick up again :)

What I value in a house is a relaxed atmosphere with cool people who lead their own busy lives but also like to sometimes hang out together in the common areas e.g. while cooking.

Technicalities:
Start renting from: May 26th earliest (I can also get an Airbnb for some time and start in June)
Until: 1st November (or a bit more, if I choose to stay in the US a little longer)
Rent: under $2000 per month (but preferably under $1500)

Let me know if you have something that could work for me! I would also be open to sub-renting from someone for part of the total time I will be staying at Stanford. If you have a place which is a good fit I can be flexible on some details.
