LOCATION: 800 Cowper St, Palo Alto, 94301. It is a short walk to University Ave. In case you are new to Palo Alto, University is our main downtown street, with all sorts of shops, restaurants, bars, movie theaters, and other services. Whole Foods and our delectable farmer’s market are a few blocks away. A short walk further takes you to the Town and Country shopping center featuring Trader Joe’s, and many stores and restaurants.
TRANSIT: A 10 minute walk gets you to the Palo Alto Transit Center, where you can catch Caltrain, numerous buses, and Stanford’s free Marguerite shuttles. A block away are the Palo Alto free shuttle and two VTA busses (21 and Dumbarton Express).
YOUR ROOM: Sunny southwest facing room about 11’ x 14’, plus study alcove, closet and bathroom. Hardwood floor. Private bath. The big bonus is a roof deck, where you could do some container gardening, picnic, entertain, or just relax. $1850/month.
THE REST: You share the large furnished living room and kitchen with two other tenants. The landlords live in the first floor apartment, so we are available but not in your face! The rent covers your room and bath, shared living room and kitchen, plus utilities, wireless internet, and storage space in shared closets. We do not charge for use of the on-site laundry machines. You are welcome to hang out with a book or a friend on the front porch or the shady bench in front of the house. No smoking, no pets. Street parking is easy with Palo Alto’s Residential Parking Program.
MOVE-IN: June 1 or earlier. Strong preference for longer-term (1+ year) commitment
