Price: $1,450
Furnished room with private bath available now with flexible move anytime now or starting June 1st. All utilities and internet are included in $1450/month rent. The private room and bathroom are in a large Palo Alto house shared with two other people (27 yo F RN, 26 yo M med student) and one quiet, extremely well behaved german shepherd (she’s the best housemate). The room is on a month to month lease, but ideally you would be planning to stay at least four months. We are hoping to find a long term housemate who is excited to contribute to our quiet, cooperative home! We both commute to Stanford med for work/school and it’s a 15 min bike or 10 min drive to campus/hospital.
Our priority at home is sleeping and resting up to go back to work/school. We maintain a quiet and peaceful home environment where it's possible to sleep during the day, all days of the week, as we have nightshift/rotations at all hours. All genders welcome, but WFH workers with calls are not a good fit because it's got to be quiet in the house while people are sleeping. We take keeping a quiet home environment while roommates are asleep very seriously: we need to sleep during the day to keep our patients safe at night.
$1200 security deposit required. No more pets at this time, unfortunately.
Backyard, living room, dining room, and kitchen shared with all housemates. Very safe, quiet, low traffic residential neighborhood on a tree lined street in a neighborhood of single family homes. Easy parking, and access to Highway 101 and Stanford University. Floor to ceiling windows, cozy gas fireplace, washer, dryer, dishwasher, flat-top stove, double oven. Two front lawns, 42 foot lap pool, expansive backyard patio and many productive fruit trees.
Application: Please use your Stanford email address, a couple lines about yourself and your interests, how long you are planning to stay, what matters to you in a living environment. Emails without these items will not be responded to d/t volume of inquiries.
Thanks for your time and consideration!
