Furnished private bedroom with private bathroom available now, with flexible move-in anytime now or starting June 1st. Rent is $1,450/month, including all utilities and internet. Security deposit is $1,200.

The available room has its own private bathroom and is one of three bedrooms in the house. The other two bedrooms are occupied by a 27-year-old female RN and a 26-year-old male medical student. The house also has one quiet, extremely well-behaved German shepherd.

The room is on a month-to-month lease, but ideally you would be planning to stay at least four months. We are hoping to find a long-term housemate who is excited to contribute to a quiet, cooperative home.

We both commute to Stanford Med for work/school, and the house is about a 15-minute bike ride or 10-minute drive to campus/hospital. The neighborhood is very safe, quiet, and low traffic, on a tree-lined residential street with mostly single-family homes. There is easy parking and convenient access to Highway 101 and Stanford University.

Our priority at home is sleeping and resting up to go back to work/school. Because of night shifts, rotations, and irregular hospital schedules, we maintain a quiet and peaceful home environment where people can sleep during the day, any day of the week. We take this seriously because we need to sleep during the day to keep our patients safe at night. All genders are welcome, but WFH workers with frequent calls are likely not a good fit because the house needs to stay quiet while people are sleeping.

Shared spaces include the backyard, living room, dining room, and kitchen. The house has floor-to-ceiling windows, a cozy gas fireplace, washer, dryer, dishwasher, flat-top stove, double oven, two front lawns, a 42-foot lap pool, an expansive backyard patio, and many productive fruit trees.

No additional pets at this time, unfortunately :(.
