Software Engineer (High-Performance Medical Imaging Platform)

• Candelis is seeking 10 exceptional software engineers with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from a university within the United States and a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.7. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
• Our core codebase is developed primarily in C++, therefore candidates should possess either practical or strong academic knowledge of the language. During the technical interview, applicants will be expected to analyze and write basic C++ code.
• We are looking for highly motivated individuals with strong analytical skills, solid computer science fundamentals, and a passion for building high-performance software systems.
• We initially engage candidates on an hourly/consulting basis, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and impact.

What You’ll Work On
You will contribute to StreamVue, our next-generation medical imaging platform, a state-of-the-art visualization system that enables radiologists to access and interpret medical images from anywhere, with sub-second performance.

You’ll join a focused team of 15 engineers working on cutting-edge challenges, including:

• Development of advanced clinical imaging tools
• High-performance rendering and pixel streaming
• Leveraging GPU acceleration for real-time visualization
• Integrating AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality
