I am going on a summer trip to Europe, and so I am subletting my room in a shared apartment Rains on the Stanford campus. It has a full-size bed, desk, closet and so forth. The room is available July 21-September 17; unfortunately I am unable to extend in either direction.

The apartment is shared with my female flatmate who is going to be there over the summer. We are quite proud of our apartment. It has a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, oven, a bunch of spices and whatever else you’ll need for cooking. We have art on the walls (see pics!) and plants, which in terms of graduate housing is not as common as you would think.

About the area: Rains is the best part of graduate housing, with small courtyards that are perfect for reading in the sun and playing beach volley. It is quiet (especially our apartment), cute, and very good at keeping out the heat.

You do not have to sublet the entire period. Rent is $1600/month, equivalent to ~$52/day. Includes water, electricity, wifi, you name it. If you want to borrow my bike (useful for getting around campus), then that can be accommodated as well. I do ask for an upfront deposit of two week’s rent at the time of agreeing to the sublet as a show of good faith.
