Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of procedures and cost estimates for completions, recompletions, and remedial well work.
• Optimization of completion or workover procedures to achieve maximum value.
• Monitoring and optimizing well production.
• Tracking and controlling lease operating expense.
• Design and engineering of artificial lift equipment.
• Analyze problem wells and recommend remedial action.
• Liaise with inter-company groups and government agencies on matters regarding the operations.
• Coordinate projected activities with exploration, land, operations, and other company departments.
• Coordinate daily operations with the rig and field supervisors.
• Support well operations as needed with special focus on CalGEM’s Idle Well Management and Idle Well Test Plans.
• Yearly testing/ recertifying of injection wells.
• Perform reservoir studies as needed.
• Permitting and reporting as needed
• Perform any special tasks that may be assigned which will contribute to the achievement of the Company’s strategic objectives.
• Assist in the acquisition of new assets.
• Represent the corporation at regulatory hearings and industry meetings as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering;
• Two to five years industry experience;
• Proficient in Excel, WellView, ProdView, OpenWells, and SROD.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication, organization and analytical skills
