Hi! I am looking for a new roommate for the next year as current roommate (23F) is moving out in August. The new lease would begin around (8/14) there is some flexibility on move in date. I am a 23 male currently working at Stanford for the next year as a researcher.

I’m a pretty outgoing person and will have friends over from time to time, so looking for someone who’s okay with this and ideally also is outgoing/has interests. No gender preference, LGBTQ+ friendly, and would prefer someone in their 20s but am open as I need the spot filled.

About the apartment:

This a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in the Linfield Oaks area of Menlo Park. This location puts you in walking distance to both downtown Menlo Park and Palo Alto (less than a mile from each down town!). It is only a 10 minute bike from Stanford’s campus. You also have easy access to 2 Caltrain Stations (5 min bike to the Menlo Park Station, 6 min bike to the Palo Alto station). Perfect location if you need easy access to Stanford/PA area but also want easy access to the rest of the Bay Area.

The rent is $1700 a month, with utilities and internet averaging around $130 ($65 per person) a month. There is a security deposit of the first month’s rent, which you would receive at the end of the lease!
