Each year the Program in Ethics in Society brings to Stanford a notable scholar to deliver a set of lectures pertaining to issues in democracy. This year, Miller will focus on the underlying question: if democracy is our favoured principle of governance, how should we decide who is to be included in the demos - how widely or narrowly should the circle be drawn?

Two lectures (Wed and Thurs, 5:30-7:000m; 1 discussion session on Fri morning, 10am-12pm).
