USC men's tennis head coach Peter Smith made it a clean sweep of the USTA National 40s Hard Court Championships, capturing his second straight singles titles as well as claiming the double crown in the action that ran Nov. 27-Dec. 6 in La Jolla, Calif. Smith dropped Carlsbad's Martin Barba 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 in the singles championship match.
