For the second week in a row, an Oklahoma State Cowboy was named the Big 12 Conference's Player of the Week. Mario Boggan, a senior forward for the Cowboys, garnered the accolade one week following JamesOn Curry's award. Boggan averaged 22.5 points and seven rebounds in two wins last week. He scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Cowboys defeated No. 21 Syracuse in the Jimmy V Classic. Against Ball State in the San Diego SLAM, he scored 24 points and grabbed six boards. He was named Most Valuable Player of the SLAM. For the week, Boggan shot 67.9 percent from the floor, connecting on 19-of-28 shots. He was 5-of-7 from the free-throw line and 2-of-7 from beyond the thee-point arc. Boggan also had four steals, two assists, a blocked shot and just two turnovers in 72 minutes of play. He earns a league weekly honor for the third time after garnering rookie accolades on two occasions a year ago.

http://www.okstate.com//ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=200&ATCLID=718643
