Oklahoma State junior Maria Cordero has been named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week by a media voting panel for games from Dec. 18-22. The 6-3 center was selected after averaging 20.5 points and 8.0 rebounds in OSU's two wins this past week. Cordero had 17 points on a 5-of-5 effort from the floor against Southern Utah on Monday night before recording her team-leading third double-double against Texas Southern.
