The Oklahoma State football team held its first practice at the site of the 2006 Independence Bowl when the squad went through a two-hour drill that began in Saturday afternoon sunshine and ended under the lights at Independence Stadium in Shreveport. "We had a good practice," said OSU head coach Mike Gundy. "A lot of times you're concerned about the first bowl practice. Obviously the players are excited to be here and having had three or four days off, but we moved around very well and did a good job.
