The Bulldogs conclude non-conference play with a home matchup against Massachusetts. This game is the second half of a Yale basketball doubleheader. The men's team takes on Longwood in the first game. Yale enters the contest 6-7 and on a four-game winning streak after a 66-56 victory at Lehigh on Wednesday. UMass is 10-4 on the season after beating Holy Cross 77-46 on Wednesday night. Yale has its most non-conference wins since 2001-02 and is looking to finish .500 or better in non-conference play for the first time since going 7-6 that season. With a victory, the Bulldogs will be on a five-game winning streak for the first time since Feb. 28-Nov. 25, 1998. The last time Yale won five straight within a season was Feb. 8-22, 1997.

http://www.yalebulldogs.com/sports/w-baskbl/spec-rel/010507aaa.html
