We are a startup with a large complex web application developed off-shore. We have an opportunity for an independant motivated self-starter to take control of our asp.net web application, programming and development. We are offering a part-time contract position to start immediately. You will work on location in Santa Monica with an opportunity to move to a full-time position and some tele-commuting after 30 days.
This is a growth opportunity for an experienced, skilled, dedicated professional. We require an experienced internet engineer with expert knowledge of VS2005/ASP.NET2, Sql2005 and MS Server2003. You will be responsible for overall development and support, deployment of assemblies, setting up web-sites. You should be familiar with web-standards programming, CSS, XML and Javascript and able to code c# and aspx files by hand. You should be fluent in C# scripting, asp.net classes, VS2005 user controls and ASP.NET configuration files.
Prefer someone located west-side, with own laptop, ready to start asap.
setup and configure VS2005.
hand-code c# .aspx and .cs files using text editor.
familiar with debugger, manifests, site tuning.
program web apps using VS2005, asp.net2, c#
publish web apps using VS2005 in all deployment modes.
setup config files - machine.config, web.config.
familiar with MS Sql2005.
knowledge of server and networking technology.
ready to work.
