Price: $150
Price: $150 (MSRP is $350). I've seen these going for $175 or $200 on Ebay, but not having to deal with Ebay and keeping this machine in the Stanford community is apparently worth at least $25 to me.
I am selling a Starbucks Barista Espresso Machine. This is a high end, semi-automatic machine that is well rated. It's one of the best sub-$400 machines out there. You can read some consumer reviews here:
http://coffeegeek.com/reviews/consumer/starbucks_barista.
The machine is manufactured by Saeco, which is a reputable high-end espresso machine manufacturer (you can find Saecos at many coffee shops), and uses a reliable single boiler construction, and the exterior is stainless steel. It has a large (96 oz.) water reservoir that's refillable without removing it. The top of the machine is a cup warming tray. This machine is reliable, easy to maintain, and will last a long time.
I bought this machine new last summer, so it has been lightly used for about a year. It's in great condition (and works exactly the same as the day I bought it), and has been recently decalsified. The machine is cosmetically perfect except for some (unavoidable) scuffing on the polished chrome top (see picture for details). I'm selling this because I may not have room for it in my new dorm.
I'll deliver it to anywhere around the Stanford area, and include a personal introduction and tips on how to get the most out of the machine.
Here's whats included:
The espresso machine
Portafilter
Cup for coffee grounds
Portafilter adapter for coffee pods
Coffee grounds measuring spoon
Group head cleaner
(Bonus) Stainless steel tamper (bought off amazon for $37)
Delivery (if reasonably close to Stanford) and a personal demonstration on how to make great espresso drinks
Here are some pictures of my espresso machine:
