One room in a 3 bedroom apartment in Escondido Village ( http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Hulme+Court,+Stanford,+CA&sll=37.428337,-122.153683&sspn=0.008315,0.021136&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Hulme+Ct,+Stanford,+Santa+Clara,+California+94305&ll=37.428371,-122.15445&spn=0.008315,0.021136&z=16 ) is available for sublet to a female during the summer from Jun 13 - Sep 1. (If you want to arrive a couple of days earlier we can work it out.) Rent is $755 which is the university's fixed rate and includes all utilities (water, electricity, gas) as well as 24/7 WiFi.
The apartment has 3 bedrooms of which you will have the largest to yourself; and shared with two other roommates - a living room, dining room, kitchen with an oven, my microwave oven and a big fridge, bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished and your room has a queen size bed, dresser, table/desk-chair, lamp, full-size mirror and some shelving. Spacious with plenty of natural light and airy.
The apartment is close to a grocery store (JJ&F), a Starbucks ( :) ) and has a Marguerite shuttle (http://transportation.stanford.edu/marguerite/MargueriteSched.shtml) stop right outside which has buses that connect to shopping centers (Walmart, Target, Safeway) as well as buses into campus. You can also use my bike whilst you are here. Reply to this post if interested.
PS - As of now, my two roommates have moved out and no one has been assigned the other two rooms yet, which means that there is a good chance you will have a huge 3 bedroom apart all to yourself. :)
