We have a lovely room in a four bedroom, two bathroom house available from June 12th to august 31st or if somebody needs a place to rent indefinitely this is also a possibility.

The apartment is

• a ten to fifteen minute bike ride from Stanford campus (a 7 minute drive),
• an eight minute walk to the caltrain station,
• a four minute walk from University Ave which has lots of restaurants.
• It is three blocks from whole foods,
• one block from a cute little park and
• in an extremely safe neighborhood.

The other 3 housemates are all stanford PhD students.

It has a laundry room with a washer and dryer,
Internet and Cable T.V.

We will probably charge $1800 for the whole summer, and then split the utilities bills four ways when they arrive (that is $720 per month if you need the place for longer). Our utilities include a biweekly cleaning service, gas, water, electricity, cable, internet... and during the summer they tend to run between $50 and $70 per month.
we are looking for a subletter to cover the basic rent of the room for the entire time, which is where the figure of $1800 comes from. There would be a security deposit of $920, which would be returned to you September 1st. The room would be furnished with a bed, dresser, small cabinet and bookshelf ($200 of the $920 security deposit is actually a furniture deposit, because the current tenant would sell the bed otherwise). The security deposit may be negotioable.
