This is a stand-alone air conditioner unit, model ARP-1000ES. It is capable of chilling a 300-sq-ft room (bigger than most campus doubles) by up to 25 degrees. Ideal for a summer on Stanford campus (July-August highs are usually in the mid-90s to low 100s). The unit is wheeled, with a hose attachment to reach the window--no window mounting necessary, thus no danger of falling out the window, and it is allowable in all campus housing.

I'm asking $250. It is available in stores new for $600 and used online for $300.
