My future roommate and I (both doctoral students) are planning to move to San Francisco towards the end of the summer (dates are flexible). We are looking for a 3br or 4br apartment in the Haight or the Mission and their environs, and would like a 3rd roommate (and possibly 4th) to share it with. We're looking for a place in the rent range of $800 to $1100 per room. Our ideal place would be a 3br/2ba or 4br/2ba with on site laundry, and situated in a young bustling neighborhood but off the main street.

We're women in our mid-twenties and we are open to both female and male roommates, and also to couples. We'd like someone who is respectful of and clean in the common areas and shared spaces, and who likes to have fun but doesn't bring home strays from their night out. We're interested in having occasional dinners/ get-togethers/themed parties but don't want a constant stream of boisterous friends coming over. While we're both at a point in life where we're fired up about getting to know the city and maintain a healthy (or is it unhealthily delightful?) social life, we do take our work seriously, and would prefer similarly minded roommates.
