The House:
1 bedroom in a 2-story, 4 BR, 2.5 Bath home in Mountain View, on the border of Palo Alto and Mountain View.
House comes equipped with W/D, dishwasher, garage (used to store gear), back patio, gas grill in backyard, gas range and microwave. We have off street and ample on street (no permit required) parking. We currently have wifi, but no land line or cable TV.
The home is located three blocks from San Antonio shopping center, or just 5-8 minute walk to Trader Joes, Milk Pail, Bev Mo, Safeway, restaurants and about 10 minute walk to Whole Foods and Target. It is a 15 minute bike ride to campus, including stops for lights.
The Roommates:
2 males 1 female. You'd be sharing an upstairs bathroom with the guy upstairs and the guy downstairs uses the upstairs shower, but mainly the downstairs bathroom. They are 1 Stanford post-doc in statistics, 1 Stanford PhD student in computer science, 1 Stanford alum working at EPRI; all are really cool, laid-back, and active (climbing, mountain biking, running etc).
The Deal:
One roommate is moving out January 14th and looking for someone to take over their part of the lease, which ends at the end of March and can be continued afterward (depending on how you and the other roommates and landlord feel). The place is 800/month and requires ~$400 (prorated first month)+800(last month)+$800(security deposit). There's a high likelihood of extending the lease until the beginning of summer, when the replacement lease is signed.
If you are looking for low-key, friendly, affordable (for the area) living, drop me a line with a little about yourself.
