This shelving unit is intended for outdoor use (e.g. storing gardening equipment) and can withstand rain/elements. I used it inside to store extra kitchen equipment.
It separates easily into 2 pieces (the top shelving unit and the bottom cabinet unit) to make it easier to transport.
