We (a couple) have a large furnished room available for both short-term and long-term rental.
The house is a quiet, tidy, spacious 4BR/3BA house with lots of fruit trees
Located in Redwood City near the Farm Hill Blvd exit of highway 280
20 minutes from Stanford and Palo Alto, 10 minutes drive from Menlo Park and San Mateo, walking distance to Canada College.
We are looking for a quiet, responsible, tidy professional/student.

The room is about 4m x 5m (13' x 17') plus a large closet.
The bathroom has a tub and another large closet.
It is furnished with a bed, a table, a desk and several bookcases.
Lots of kitchenware available.
Also some sheets, blankets, etc.

Washer, dryer
Kitchen: dish washer, garbage compactor, oven...
Large patio, fruit trees.
Parking in the street.
The swimming pool has been shut down due to the drought.
The neighborhood is generally upscale and very safe.

We (the owners) are an Italian writer/lecturer and a Chinese writer. We live downstairs and rent the rooms upstairs.
Two other rooms are rented to a female professional in her early 30s and a male professional in his early 30s. They share a separate bathroom.

$1450/ month plus utilities (about $100 each).
First + last + $800 deposit to move in
Month-to-month rent (one month notice to move out)

You: very responsible/tidy.
No pets, no smoking/drugs (inside or outside).
