Hi all! A room in my house is opening up soon. It's been an absolute pleasure living here, and we'd love to find a roommate to keep that going. Please feel free to pass this on to anyone you may know who would fit the bill.

About the Room/You:
Private room with shared bath (with 1 other person) available May 1st. We're looking for a responsible roommate to add to our laid back home in Old Mountain View. We all hang out together, but also have our private lives and are independent.

About the House:
We live in a 5bd/2bath with an interesting layout. There is a large backyard with a fire pit and abundant free parking. You would also have full access to the common areas (living room, dining room, kitchen, washer/dryer). Each occupied room has two entrances so you can go through your own private entrance if you want privacy. The house is not owner-occupied.

About the Roommates:
D - High tech employee, cyclist, hiker.
R - Stanford researcher with small dog.
M - Graphic designer/artist. Works from home most of the time and will paint occasionally.
E - Works for a foundation in Palo Alto.

About the lease:
1 year lease. Applicants will have to meet the other roommates and the landlord, in person, before any decision is made. First, last month's rent, and security deposit is due to the landlord when the signing lease. Utilities are not included in the lease and it (internet, electric/gas, garbage) plus house keeping 2x month usually comes out to around $150 per person per month.

1. Copy of drivers license or passport
2. 2 pay stubs from current employer or offer letter if newly employed
3. Landlord reference
4. Current credit report (within one month)
5. Sign a one year lease (If you need to sublease later landlord has to agree and you will pay $100 for the sublease.)
