Looking for a cat-friendly room to rent starting mid-Aug to mid-Sept

Hi! I am a mid-30s woman moving to the area for a fellowship position and need housing. I am hoping to find a room to rent for under $2000 close-ish to campus. Furnished or unfurnished with at least a one year lease.

I am very quiet and clean, so I'd prefer a quiet and clean living space.

I can move in around the beginning of September.

My only two must haves are 1. the house must be cat friendly because I am bringing my 14 year old cat, and 2. I need a dedicated parking spot. Thanks!
