I am a male Stanford postdoc and I am looking for a flat mate from beginning of August. The apartment is in downtown Menlo Park. The location is really nice, several grocery shops in walking distance. CalTrain is a 5 min walk and Stanford a 15 min bike ride. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and comes with a kitchen incl. a stove, a fridge/freezer combination and a small dishwasher, a well-sized living/dining area with hardwood floors. Your bedroom is unfurnished (some furniture can possibly bought from former flat mate), but has a build-in closet and is 130 sq feet. There is access to laundry facilities. The rent will be around USD 1350 per person per month + gas and electricity. I like to cook, travel and do sports and am looking for a roommate I can have dinner/beer or watch a movie with once in a while, but that also respects my privacy.
