To whom it may concern,
My name is Lukas Friedemann and one of my dreams has always been to study and live on the west coast of the United States.
I obtained my Bachelor Arts in International Politics and History at the beginning of June this year from Jacobs University Bremen (Northern Germany) and the Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Buenos Aires, Argentina (semester abroad) and I am now looking forward to the two year Master in International Policy Studies at Stanford University.
I am 24 years old and have been spending as much time as possible besides my studies with traveling, a great variety of sports and meeting people from all over the world. Friends describe me as an outgoing, friendly, spontaneous and kind person. I love to spend hours out in nature, but I also always pursue my academic career with great responsibility. I am easy going and would be thrilled to live with people that share similar interest, while always respecting a personal zone of retreat.
I am looking for a place close to Stanford campus that I could reach either by public transportation or on a bike. As my financial situation is not particularly generous, I am hoping to find a place somewhere between 600 and 800 US Dollars. I am currently on the waiting list for on-campus housing. Depending on the offer, I would consider moving in for any time between a couple of weeks and the entire duration of my studies.
If you are interested in sharing an apartment with a German, international student, please contact me. I would be thrilled to hear from you.
All the best and thank you for your time,
Lukas Friedemann
