Looking for a room in SF

Hi! I am a recent college graduate (22F) moving to the Bay Area during my gap year to do research at Stanford before applying to grad school. I am looking for a place to sublet starting October 1st (or earlier). I would like to have a place until Dec 1st at least, but would be open to something longer-term if it works out! I could also do a shorter-term stay, just need to find a place by October 1st and things keep falling through :( I ideally want to be within a 30-minute drive to campus (I will have a car, so I don't need to be too close to public transportation, but would like parking). A bit about me: I love to visit local cafes (on a mission to find the best matcha) and farmers' markets; I love finding new hobbies/crafts like crochet or pottery painting; I like to keep my space clean and organized; I am excited to be close to all the national parks and the beaches, and love going on walks/runs outdoors; I also love visiting cideries and wineries, and would love to make friends in the area to go out/explore with!

I am a male and looking for a place to stay 2 nights per week - Monday (night) and Tuesday (day n night). Will leave early on Wednesday mornings. No luggage but just a backpack. Specifically looking for a bed, bathroom, work desk and Wi-Fi. Preferably closer to University Hall or a very short commute through public transportation. Open to discuss the cost accordingly.

Hi! I’m a PhD student at Stanford, 24yo. I am looking for a room in a cat-friendly apartment in the Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Los Altos, or Mountain View areas. Alternatively, roommates who are also looking for housing and are ok living with a cat. Ideally, I’d like to live as close to Stanford campus as possible, or close to the Caltrain. I’m pretty outgoing and spend most of my free time hanging out with friends, reading, cooking, or hiking. I have just one cat, indoor only and neutered, who is friendly and playful. Move-in date is flexible, ideally sometime this fall but open to moving at start of 2027. My budget is <$1700, but is also slightly flexible for the right fit, and I’m willing to discuss pet rents as needed.
