Seeking additional roomate for living room area:
We are two males in our mid-20s working in or near Palo Alto seeking a third roommate for the living room area of our apartment. It is a spacious, two-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom apartment located in the Oak Creek Apartment complex, a large apartment complex on Sand Hill Road, across from Stanford, close to various spots (downtown Palo Alto, Cal Train, Stanford Shopping Center, Safeway)
About the space: you would be taking the dining room and part of the living room area in the floorplan. The size of the space is negotiable. You can have up to a 9’ by 20’ space plus the balcony and the price will vary accordingly. There are walls around part of the space but as you can see in the picture(s), you would need to provide the shelves or curtains to wall off the rest of the space (we'll remove the furniture currently there). You would also need to have your own furniture.
Cost: asking $800-$1000 depending on size. Utilities, water, gas, trash are extra – and we’ll split 3 ways.
What we are looking for in a roommate:
§ Currently employed, or full-time student
§ Reliable source of funds and good credit (Oak Creek will run a background/credit check; you must meet their criteria)
§ Commitment for a 12-month lease (through August 31, 2015)
§ Non-smoker. No drugs.
§ You must like dogs / no pets allowed -- we occasionally babysit a very friendly 11yr old yellow lab. No other pets allowed
Oak Creek features several amenities – multiple outdoor pools, a fitness center, a clubhouse/lounge, tennis courts, and best of all, timely apartment maintenance services. We are on the fourth floor and there is an elevator. The balcony faces out to Oak Creek Dr. which means there is no traffic and it is very quiet.
