Description

Hello! I'm a 26F entering a social sciences PhD program at Stanford this fall. I'm hoping to form a 2 or 3 person group of other women to enter into the grad housing lottery.

I am hoping to live in a calm/quiet but sociable and supportive living environment. I do best with people who keep hours like these: in room/winding down by 10/11pm, up by 7/8am. I am more of a morning person than a night owl but do like an occasional night out on weekends! I like to keep a clean (but not pristine) living environment. I am interested in living in a smoke-free and drug-free household (totally fine with alcohol). In my free time I love being outside/hiking, cooking with roommates, gardening, being active etc.!

I'm interested in the following housing options (in order of priority) as I'm hoping to keep housing costs under $2K pp:

  • Escondido South, Low-Rise (the 2 story apts would be my dream)
  • Escondido Village, Low-Rise
  • Lyman
  • Escondido Village, Kennedy Shared junior apts (would prefer a living room but this looks OK)
  • While I love the price, I don't want to live at Rains because of the noise and don't want to live at EVGR because of the hotel / sterile vibes

If this sounds like it could be a match, please reach out to me!! Thank you!! :)
