Hi everyone!!

I'm helping a female friend of mine find housing near Carnegie Mellon University's Silicon Valley campus (CMU SV). She'll be studying there during the spring semester and is looking for a place to stay from early January to the end of May 2027.

She's open to joining an existing house or apartment, taking over a short-term sublease, or connecting with others in a similar situation to look for a place together!

What she's looking for

Location: Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Stanford, or nearby, ideally within ~30 minutes by bike or public transit.

Budget: Around $2,500/month

Dates: Early January to May 2027 (around 5 months)

Room: Furnished private bedroom preferred, ideally with a private bathroom

Roommates: Female roommates preferred

About her

She's a student at CMU Silicon Valley, looking for a comfortable, friendly, and relatively quiet living environment. She'd be happy to share a house or apartment with other female students or young professionals.
